Show Rules for General Public

The safety of our guests, vendors, and staff is our highest priority. By entering the Alabama Arms & Ammo Show, all attendees agree to follow these rules and all instructions provided by show staff and security.

Admission & Removal

Show management and security reserve the right to refuse admission or remove any person who violates show rules, creates a safety concern, disrupts the event, or refuses to follow instructions.

Anyone removed for violating show rules may be required to leave the property and will not receive an admission refund.

Firearm Safety

  • All firearms brought into the show must be completely unloaded.
  • All firearms must be presented to show security upon entry for inspection and must be secured with a zip tie before entering the show floor.
  • Do not remove, cut, or tamper with a security zip tie while inside the venue.
  • No loaded firearms are permitted inside the show, except those carried by authorized law enforcement or designated security personnel.
  • No loose ammunition is permitted inside the venue.
  • Ammunition brought into the show for sale or trade must remain securely packaged.
  • No dry firing, test firing, or unsafe firearm handling is permitted.
  • Firearms may not be handled at a vendor’s table without the vendor’s permission.
  • Never point or aim a firearm at another person, even if the firearm has been verified unloaded and secured.
  • Firearms purchased or transferred during the show must remain unloaded and secured while inside the venue.
  • All firearm purchases, sales, trades, and transfers must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
  • Buyers and sellers are responsible for determining whether a transaction is lawful.
  • Any firearm transfer that is legally required to be handled through a Federal Firearms Licensee (FFL) must be completed through a properly licensed dealer.
  • The Alabama Arms & Ammo Show, Main Events LLC, venue, staff, and security personnel do not act as a party to private firearm transactions and do not facilitate private transfers.
  • Vendors and attendees may refuse any transaction at their discretion.
  • Suspected illegal activity should be immediately reported to show staff or security.

Buying, Selling & Trading

Conduct Inside the Show

  • No illegal weapons, prohibited items, or illegal merchandise are permitted.
  • No alcohol, illegal drugs, or intoxicated persons are permitted inside the show.
  • Horseplay, threatening behavior, fighting, reckless firearm handling, or other unsafe conduct will not be tolerated.
  • Do not handle, move, open, or otherwise disturb a vendor’s merchandise without permission.
  • Children and minors must remain under the supervision of a responsible adult.
  • Please respect vendor displays, barriers, restricted areas, and all posted signage.
  • Attendees must follow all reasonable instructions given by show staff, venue personnel, and security.

Personal Property & Transactions

Attendees are responsible for their own firearms, ammunition, merchandise, money, and personal belongings at all times.

The Alabama Arms & Ammo Show, Main Events LLC, the venue, and their respective employees, contractors, and representatives are not responsible for lost, stolen, misplaced, or damaged personal property.

The Alabama Arms & Ammo Show and its organizers do not guarantee, warrant, inspect, or assume responsibility for merchandise purchased, sold, traded, or exchanged between attendees and vendors or between private individuals.
