These rules are intended to help maintain a safe, professional, and well-organized Alabama Arms & Ammo Show. All vendors, employees, helpers, and representatives are expected to follow these rules while participating in the event.
By reserving vendor space, vendors agree to comply with these rules and any additional instructions provided by show management.
Firearm Safety
All firearms displayed, handled, transferred, or offered for sale inside the show must be unloaded.
All firearms entering the show must be secured with an approved zip tie or other safety device as directed by show management.
Firearms sold during the show must be secured with zip tie before leaving the vendor area.
No loaded firearms are permitted in vendor displays.
No dry firing is permitted inside the show.
Firearms may not be pointed at attendees, vendors, staff, or other individuals, even when unloaded.
Vendors are responsible for maintaining control of all firearms displayed at their tables.
Ammunition
Loose ammunition is not permitted.
Ammunition offered for sale must remain properly packaged or contained.
Live ammunition may not be loaded into any firearm inside the show.
Vendors are responsible for safely displaying and securing all ammunition at their tables.
Firearm Sales and Transfers
All firearm sales and transfers must comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Federal Firearms Licensees are responsible for completing all required paperwork, background checks, and other procedures associated with firearm transfers.
Private sellers are responsible for understanding and complying with any laws that apply to their transactions.
Alabama Arms & Ammo Show and Main Events LLC do not conduct firearm transfers on behalf of vendors and are not responsible for determining whether an individual transaction is lawful.
Vendor Products
All merchandise must be appropriate for the Alabama Arms & Ammo Show and must remain within the vendor’s assigned space.
Show management reserves the right to prohibit or require the removal of merchandise considered unsafe, illegal, inappropriate, misleading, counterfeit, or inconsistent with the character of the show.
Products requiring special licensing or permits may only be sold by vendors who possess the appropriate credentials.
No explosive devices, illegal weapons, controlled substances, or other unlawful merchandise may be displayed or sold.
Tables and Vendor Space
Vendors must remain within their assigned table or booth area.
Aisles, entrances, exits, emergency routes, and neighboring vendor spaces must remain clear at all times.
Displays may not extend into public walkways without approval from show management.
Tables may not be moved, exchanged, or relocated without permission.
Vendors may not sublease, resell, or transfer their reserved space to another business or individual without approval.
Setup and Breakdown
Vendors must follow the designated setup and breakdown schedule provided by show management.
Booths should be completely set up before the show opens to the public.
Early breakdown is strongly discouraged and may require approval from show management.
Vendors are responsible for removing all merchandise, displays, boxes, trash, and other materials from their space at the conclusion of the event.
Vendor vehicles must be moved from loading areas promptly after unloading.
Electrical Access
Electrical access is provided free where available but is not guaranteed.
Vendors requiring electricity should request it in advance.
Extension cords, power strips, and electrical equipment must be in safe operating condition and may not create a trip hazard.
Show management may require unsafe electrical equipment or wiring to be disconnected.
Vendor Conduct
Vendors are expected to conduct themselves professionally and respectfully.
Harassment, threats, fighting, excessive profanity, disruptive behavior, or unsafe conduct may result in removal from the event.
Vendors may not interfere with another vendor’s customers, displays, or business activities.
Excessively loud music, speakers, demonstrations, or other activities that interfere with neighboring vendors are not permitted without prior approval.
Smoking and vaping must comply with venue rules.
Sales, Taxes, and Licensing
Each vendor is responsible for obtaining any licenses, permits, registrations, or tax accounts required for their business and merchandise.
Vendors are responsible for collecting, reporting, and remitting any applicable sales taxes.
Main Events LLC does not provide tax, legal, or licensing advice to vendors and does not assume responsibility for a vendor’s compliance obligations.
Security and Loss Prevention
Vendors are responsible for securing their own merchandise, money, equipment, firearms, and personal property.
Show management may provide general event security, but this does not transfer responsibility for vendor property to Main Events LLC, the venue, or event staff.
Vendors should not leave valuable items unsecured or unattended.
Any suspicious activity should be reported to show staff or security immediately.
Vendor Credentials
Vendor credentials are intended only for registered vendors and their approved employees or helpers.
Credentials may not be transferred to customers, friends, or other individuals for the purpose of avoiding admission.
Show management may revoke vendor credentials if they are misused.
Compliance With Venue and Show Staff
Vendors must comply with reasonable instructions from Main Events LLC, venue management, security personnel, fire officials, law enforcement, and other authorized personnel.
Show management reserves the right to address situations not specifically covered by these rules when necessary to protect attendees, vendors, staff, or the venue.
Failure to comply with show rules may result in removal from the event without refund and may affect eligibility to participate in future Alabama Arms & Ammo Shows.
